Severe mental illnesses, such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and severe depression, can be incredibly debilitating. They can completely upend our lives, making it impossible for us to work, study, or even engage in simple daily tasks. In our inpatient mental health service, we’re dedicated to providing comprehensive care for individuals grappling with these serious conditions. We’re here to provide a safe and structured environment where we can lay the groundwork for recovery.
Our program is grounded in evidence-based treatments that have been proven to help those with severe mental illness. We’re not just treating symptoms; we’re striving to get to the root of the problem. We use a mix of individual therapy, group therapy, medication management, and holistic therapeutic options. We’re committed to creating a personalized plan for each individual, because we know that no two people’s experiences with severe mental illness are the same.
We believe in the power of community in the healing process. In our program, we’re not just patients and providers—we’re a team. We’re all in this together, helping each other navigate the twists and turns of recovery. We’re here to celebrate victories, big and small, and to provide support during the tough times. We’re committed to creating an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued. Because when we’re coping with severe mental illness, that sense of connection can make all the difference.

In the historic heart of South Orange County, just east of Dana Point and conveniently near the 5 and 73 freeways, San Juan Capistrano offers a rich tapestry of culture and tradition. Our mental health center is strategically located here, amidst the community’s beautiful Spanish colonial-style homes and historical landmarks like the Forster Mansion, built in 1910. We chose San Juan Capistrano for our facility because it embodies a strong sense of community and heritage—key elements in fostering an environment supportive of mental health recovery.
San Juan Capistrano is famous for its annual “Miracle of the Swallows of Capistrano” on March 19th, St. Joseph’s Day, which celebrates the swallows’ return from Argentina. This event, a tradition since the 1930s, symbolizes renewal and is a time of community gathering and celebration, mirroring the principles of hope and renewal in mental health recovery.
The city also boasts an array of parks and educational institutions, from Cook Cordova Park to St. Margaret’s Episcopal School, catering to families and individuals who enjoy a vibrant, active lifestyle. The residential areas range from sprawling equestrian estates to luxurious gated communities such as the Marbella Country Club, offering diverse living options and a high quality of life.
At our center, located in this picturesque and dynamic setting, we provide specialized mental health care designed to meet the unique needs of our residents. We integrate the local culture and community spirit into our programs, enhancing our ability to support each individual’s journey toward well-being. Our facility is a place of refuge and healing, where the values of community and personal history are woven into the fabric of our care strategies, ensuring that everyone we serve can achieve personal growth and recovery in a setting that feels like home.
